Play Golf

With so many golf courses in the Stellenbosch and Cape Area it will be difficult to choose which courses to play.

Bart and his son are keen golfers and both have played nearly all the courses in the Western Cape several times. They can advise you where to play or which caddie to ask for through the Caddy Master of the club.

The landscape, climate and incredible natural beauty allow for the game of golf to be enjoyed almost all year round.

Please take into consideration that especially in the summer (November-February) the best tee-off time is in the early morning.

We will happily arrange tee-off times in advance.

Saturdays and Wednesdays most clubs have competitions and will welcome visitors if there is space in the field.

Jonkershuis Guesthouse is also in close contact with teaching golf pro’s. We will be happy to arrange a lesson or a playing lesson with one of them to sharpen up your game.

If you prefer to travel light we do have golf-equipment, only bring your shoes.
